simplicity.

its the PSLE marking week and im in school with a few others while the bulk of the teachers are at their designated marking centres. that means the school is freaking empty.. but sad to say my workload is far from empty. yelah..mentang2 aku tak pegi marking semua kerja campak kat aku..tsk..

caught Impak Maksima on Sunday with helmi. bought him tickets for his birthday. i figured he'd be interested in seeing cars drifting on stage..and i guessed it right..i think..because he was totally immersed. plus point, we got FRONT ROW tickets. haha..he can see cars i can see KAMAL ADLI..he's the epitome of hotness please.haha. =) and love, your zed zaidi impersonation is spot on..thanks to your tummy. okay tkya merajok..sayaaaaang mimi!

anyways, was watching project HOPE on tv last night. cant help but feel disturbed. and i thought the tsunami was bad enough.. its kinda frustrating that all you can do is just watch and sympathize or just make donations..tsk.. but its really heartwarming to see many Singaporeans actually donating huge amounts of money for the cause..and i mean HUGE. did you see the figures yesterday? my gosh..ahh..siapa kata singaporeans kiasu..actually adelah jugak tapi tak semua hokay!

I attended my first funeral of a close relative in my 21 years. Yes, i am kental like that. I finally understood what it was like to actually witness/experience death and sorrow. It somehow struck a cord.. "Would my loved ones grieve for my loss?". And so i sat in the car looking out the window on the way to the cemetary tearing my eyes out for the loss of Nek Ju, someone whom a few weeks back radiates with the pink of health at her daughter's wedding. Little did we know, her calling was to follow suit..

Dear Allah,
Please forgive her sins and have mercy on her soul. She will be dearly missed. Al-fatehah.

this year raya was the usual but the date was nice 20-09-2009..i just realised it like today..heh.and the fact that ive stopped receiving green packets and started giving them instead is heart-wrenching i tell u..hurhur.and and and its the first time ever that my boyfriend came over to visit on 1st day raya.. thanks for making my day love..

we were sitting at causeway's banquet last saturday night while waiting for our midnight movie to start when i glanced a bunch of green apples at the drinks stall..so i asked helmi love whether he knew the specific name people use for green apples.

and guess what he said dengan mukanya yang sungguh selenge dan selamba.

Helmi: GRAPPLE!!
Asilah: Why the hell grapple?
Helmi: Green Apple what..G and apple..
Asilah: Kepala hotak you! LOL!!
